Refreshing the icons.

The Cessna Skyhawk (172), Skylane (182), and Stationair (206) are the planes we grow up in, get our pilots license in, and use to carry our families. They have been around since the 50’s and deserved a new interior.

Objective:

Redesign the 1998 182/206 interiors through Customer Advisory Boards (CABs).

Obstacles:

  • 1964 Plane Structure (no geometry)

  • Handbuilt Plane with .5 inch tolerances

  • Low Budget

  • FAA Rules and Regulations

  • Visible Fasteners

  • Instrument Panel Off Limits
